Times Past specialises in designing and producing historical costumes. All our costumes are made to fit the most striking mannequins, with beautifully harmonious results. We design figures from all periods and classes, from the past and present.

Why?

What wonderful stories are revealed during a visit to a museum or castle! Your tour shows you all kinds of interesting rooms and objects. Occasionally, you might pass a model… And when you do, your eyes are drawn back to it again and again. Even though it is not alive, it somehow animates its surroundings! It kindles your imagination, as it were. Soon you feel the banquet hall in the castle coming to life. You see the butler pouring wine for the lady in her wonderfully festive dress who is gazing entranced at her equally elegantly attired husband. A dog lies contentedly by the fire while a small child plays next to it.

By introducing beautiful mannequins from the period, a room in a museum or castle takes on a totally different dimension - and encourages people to return. Children are particularly fascinated by such captivating figures. One look tells a story that needs no words. Such figures therefore have great educational value too. But above all… they are a feast for the eyes!

Our figures are designed for everyone who wants to bring history to life, as well as for people who ‘just’ want to enjoy them. We mainly focus on museums and castles, but our clients also include shops and private individuals.
