Private assignment Victorian costume for Charles Dickens party

A private person visited us with a wonderful original Victorian dress. The fine details of the dress clearly indicate that the dress is over 100 years old. The dress is made from thick black mat-glazed satin and has a number of stunning details, such as fabric-coated buttons.

For the annual Charles Dickens party, which takes place in Deventer, we were asked to design a matching blouse or jacket. We will complete the costume with a Victorian hat and black stockings with a woven satin ribbon. We make the costume suitable for a cold winter’s day.
